Now it is Manchester United’s turn to continue the Premier League’s successful start in Europe.
The Red Devils welcome Azerbaijani champions Sabah Baku to Old Trafford tonight, with kick-off scheduled for 8:00 PM.
The occasion marks United’s return to the Champions League for the first time since the 2023/24 campaign, while their opponents are preparing for their first-ever appearance in the main stage of the competition.

Manager Valdas Dambrauskas also has an interesting connection to the hosts, having once developed his coaching career through Manchester United Football Schools. He now returns to Old Trafford attempting to produce one of the biggest shocks in Champions League history.
Sabah are unlikely to match United for possession, but they can make the evening uncomfortable by remaining compact, defending the penalty area and attacking quickly whenever the hosts commit players forward.
